Menjejak Penulis di PWTC (Bahagian Kedua)
"who's your hero, sir?" entah camne soalan ni boleh melompat keluar dari mulut aku.
dia terus menandatangani Nothing is Sacred itu tanpa memandang wajahku, "I don't have a hero."
"well, I used to have a hero. but now I don't... Anyway, don't go hero worshipping."
what i didn't tell him was that HE is my hero. well, i used to call him my idol. but idol (idola) tu maknanya seakan hampir dengan patung berhala. ;p so aku dah downgrade title dari 'idola' kepada 'hero'. ok, aku memang kolot. but i don't give a damn so why should you care? and no, i don't worship him or any of my heroes or any of my idols.
aku tak pernah termimpi nak jumpa ben joned. luckily i brought enough money to buy his book.
he keep on quoting his 'guru' (brecth):- "unhappy is the land that is in need of heroes."
well, apa yang aku tanya dia, aku boleh cari jawapannya dalam buku dia kecuali, "... I'm a writer and full time house-servant."
