Edisi buang tebiat
I can't really explain why, but I admire the old guy above. No. Not the one on your right. The other one. On the left. Somehow, I got this tendency to idolise anti-establishment figures. Chairil Anwar, Che Guevera, Hishamudin Rais, etc. You name it. I adore them all. hahahha!! But of course I don't worship them la. Just respect their guts and fighting spirits. They are not flawless, nevertheless extremely charismatic.
If you haven't noticed, Castro's background is similar to Saddam's. And both of them are socialists. Wuhoooo!!!
Don't leave yet. I have something more interesting to share with you.
"... while the Europeans dithered on Bosnia and Kosovo, and while over 50 Muslim countries did absolutely nothing to stop the killing of fellow Muslims there, it was the U.S. that took unilateral military action (without a U.N. resolution) against Christian leaders to stop the ethnic cleansing of Muslims in the Balkans." - Transitions
Hmm.. how about that? Interesting eh? Over 50 Muslims countries!!!
Now keep that in your mind if you got any.
Yeah!!! Collect signatures! Organize a mega concert! Get more artistes with bigger names to perform!! Give signatures and extend our friendship to Iraqians and Palestinians but at the same time contribute our hard-earned money to US. Let them buy more ammo with those money. US dah mintak negara yang berhutang untuk melangsaikan hutangnya. We should donate more!!! Baguslah! Bukan ke US dah berjasa dalam membebaskan Balkan?!!
Bullshit!!!
Maybe we have opened our eyes a bit wider. Maybe Muslim countries' leaders have realised that they should take a more proactive approach. But can we really expect any drastic changes now? With all OIC members agreed to use oil as a 'weapon'?! How strong could this 'weapon' prevent war?
Why not sending troops to Palestine to stop the Zionist army from swarming and killing the Palestinian civilians? That could be more proactive. Seeing this, US might change their target and make Palestine its battle ground instead of Iraq. Well, it is some thoughts. Some crazy thoughts.
The reason? Like Spyz pointed out sometimes ago, Saddam bukan orang suci. But I like his approach in Gulf War. When his countries was attacked, he directed his Scuds to Israel. Now, that is what I call proactive. Macam main chess la. Kau nak makan 'kuda' aku, aku boleh makan 'rook' kau. Better still if I could lay my dirty hands on your 'queen'.
Most probably, you're a bit confused about my stand but it remains like it used to be . Better if I repeat it, eh? Signing a petition to prevent war is not a proactive approach. Neither did I actually say it is a silly effort. But honestly, what can we achieve with signatures? Of course, you don't have to pay to sign. But then, what is the value of your signature? Berapa ringgit yang kau dah kurangkan dari mengalir pulang ke kantung Amerika before you sign? That is my real concern.
Well, obviously most of us don't need politics. Politik buat orang jadi bodoh, jadi gila. We don't need party yang benderanya ada gambar dacing atau roket atau bulan atau mata atau kepala lembu, do we? What we really need is parti yang ada gambar almarhum DYMM Agong.
Although, I didn't sign the petition, I really understand Imm's disappointment. I really do. I just couldn't accept inane and inexplicably stupid reasons for not signing. Well my friends, it happened here in Malaysia. Happened in our beloved country.
